Symptom 1: You can sign in on other devices, but not on web.
Symptom 2: You attempt to create an account but an error states "You must be logged in to perform this action".
Symptom 3: You attempt to watch videos as an anonymous free user but images won't load and an error may state there was a "problem fetching guestbook".
Symptom 4: Password reset will not work via web (reset email never arrives).
VRV is taking security very seriously. If you have already tried resetting your password and that is not solving your issue, it may be that the security certificates your computers uses to safely access our site are being invalidated. There are a few things that you can check which have a known affect:
1) Invalid date/time.
If the date/time is off on your OS or your CMOS, our server will not be able to speak to your computer. Please double check that the timezone is accurate and the date/time is correct in both places.
2) A VPN is on.
VPN's will not have a reliable connection with our server and should be turned off.
3) An extension or other software is preventing access to the site.
Please turn off any programs which may block IPs, block ads, or otherwise restrict communication from our site. Try logging in using Chrome in incognito mode. If it works, it means an extension was conflicting with our server.
